Need a hand?
Our support doesn't stop with our Solar powered hosting, we thought some of you may need a helping hand getting to grips with your sunflower seeds. You may have a family secret or know of alternate methods but the following guidelines might help:
- Sow indoors in March/April with 1 seed per 7.5cm (3 inches) of surface dirt.
- Move outdoors in May (or sow in May if no space indoors)
- When outdoors seeds / plants should be 45cm (18 inches) apart and 1.5cm (1/2 inch) deep.
- Use a stake to help them grow tall and strong
